How We Define Process Heat Requirements
Cape Boiler does not begin with equipment selection, we begin by understanding the process.
Every system is designed around the actual operating requirement, including:
- Required operating temperature
- What is being heated (product, tank, vessel, air or line)
- Whether the process is batch or continuous
- Simultaneous or staged heat demand
- Current fuel usage and operating costs
From this, we define the installed heat load (kW) and determine the most efficient way to deliver that energy.
In practice, this shifts the conversation from specifying equipment, such as a “600 kg/hr boiler” — to defining the actual process requirement, for example a ±400 kW process load and the most efficient way to meet it.
This approach ensures that every system is correctly sized, efficient and aligned with real operating conditions.

Turnkey Process Heating Systems
Cape Boiler delivers complete process heating systems, not standalone equipment.
